About the founder
Zaptics is led by Yash Tambi, a multidisciplinary engineer with experience across electric mobility, aerospace, and advanced energy systems. He began his career at Ather Energy, designing one of India’s first BMS software systems for the Ather S340, giving him early insight into building safe, reliable automotive electronics at scale.

Yash further deepened his technical expertise at TU Delft, working on high-temperature fuel cells, fuel-cell aircraft powertrains, and advanced energy systems. He later served as Chief Engineer at Project Talaria (Netherlands), where he led the development of one of the world’s smallest manned electric helicopters, gaining hands-on experience in high-voltage, aerospace-grade, safety-critical engineering.

Seeing a clear need for world-class, locally engineered control systems in India, Yash founded Zaptics to bring together his global learnings into a company built on deep engineering, uncompromising safety, in-house design control, and rigorous validation.
Today, he leads Zaptics with the same curiosity and precision that shaped his early career—driving the development of BMS platforms, EVCCs, clusters, ECUs, and custom control systems used across India, Europe, ASEAN, and MENA.
Our team
At Zaptics, engineering is truly end-to-end and vertically integrated. Our team brings deep expertise across the complete V-development cycle—ranging from Systems and Safety Engineering to hardware design, mechanical design, embedded software, algorithms, and comprehensive V&V.
What makes Zaptics unique is that our talent has been built and trained almost entirely in-house, growing together through challenging real-world projects.
This has created a team that thinks cohesively, solves problems holistically, and delivers products with the precision and ownership that only a tightly integrated engineering culture can achieve.
